I started my YouTube channel just over a year ago, and in that time, I’ve managed to amass over 100,000 subscribers. It’s been a lot of work – hours of filming, editing and promoting my videos – but it’s all been worth it because now I can say that I’m a full-time YouTuber. And the best part? I’ve only been monetized for six months.
For those who don’t know, YouTube monetization lets creators earn money from ads placed on their videos. In order to be eligible, you need to have at least 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months and 1,000 subscribers.
